If you know and love what nowadays millennials call “aesthetic” then you have probably heard of the beauty brand “Glossier”. Glossier is unlike other competing beauty brand companies like Anastasia Beverly Hills , or Too Faced. Most of those beauty brands seem to always promote the dramatic looks. You can create smokey eyes, cut glitter creases, you can shape your face with their contouring kits, and how you can achieve “on fleek eyebrows." Unlike those brands; Glossier is a beauty brand that promotes “Natural Beauty”. The makeup brand is more set on defining and enhancing your features rather than making you look dramatic.
On any Glossier ad or on their website you’ll see fresh faced girls and boys with shiny dewy faces.When I first went on their website (glossier.com) I was so intrigued by this company and how it promotes their idea of beauty. One thing that really captured my attention about this beauty brand is how it showcases real skin textures and tones in such an unfiltered way and how their products are very affordable.
This beauty company is not only make up; it offers skin care and fragrances that I have yet to try but when I do I will make sure to update my thoughts on Glossier and on their very popular skincare. For now i will just be giving my thoughts on the first three products that I have purchased from Glossier.
Glossier. Priming Moisturizer
-The first product that I purchased from Glossier was their primer. Personally, this is one of my favorite beauty products ever. I use it almost everyday and it is refreshing, very hydrating and buildable. This is one product that I really recommend from this company. After using this primer, I have not had to purchase from another brand. Your foundation of choice just glides right on and it makes your face look absolutely flawless. The priming moisturizer retails for $22.
Glossier. Haloscope Dew Highlighting Stick
-The second product I purchased from Glossier was the haloscope dew highlighting stick. This product gives your face a dewy glow. It is a very rich and creamy formula and it comes in 3 different shades. If you like to glow then this a great product that you should definitely try, which retails for $22
Glossier. Balm dot Com Lip Salve
-The third and final product that I purchased was a product that really helped me through the winter. The balm dot com lip salve is a rich formula that really hydrates your lips. It is not sticky and my favorite thing about it is that it gives your lips a little tint. I got the cherry flavor, so it gives off this really nice not so harsh red tint. This is one product that I really recommend you purchase if you easily get chapped lips. This product retails for only $12 and it is so worth it
